Stoneleigh Summit resulted from the Country Club of Maryland’s desire to sell excess land to raise money.
Approach and Results
MacKenzie recognized the land’s potential as a 36 villa home community with a gated entrance that caters to those who are 55 and older. MacKenzie had the foresight to understand the recovery of the active adult market and worked closely with the club members to create a community that peacefully coexists with the adjacent golf course. MacKenzie is currently developing this 36 lot community with sales expected to commence in 2015.
