MCRES Recognized for Eight “Costar Power Broker Quarterly Deals” for Q4 2024 Transactions

Full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm cited for three retail leases, two industrial leases, two warehouse/industrial building sales, and one commercial office lease in greater Baltimore area

MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC has been recognized for eight CoStar Power Broker Quarterly Deals for Q4 2024 in the greater Baltimore metropolitan area, according to the company which provides information, analytics, and marketing services to the commercial real estate sector. The Lutherville, Maryland-based group received top honors for the execution of three retail leases, two industrial leases, two warehouse/industrial building sales, and one commercial office lease. Forty leases and property sales were cited, and MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services was one of two brokerage firms with transactions in each of the different asset class categories.

According to CoStar, “as big-ticket items involving sizable investments, commercial property transactions often have a wider impact with the community.” The Washington, D.C.-based company “recognizes the largest leases completed each quarter and the dealmakers who made them happen in their respective markets.”

Retail leasing transactions

  • Indoor baseball and softball training center Top Gun Factory leased 15,480 square feet of space at 1332 Londontown Boulevard in Eldersburg, with MacKenzie’s Dennis Boyle and Graham Sevy representing the landlord, K&S Capital.
  • Irish sports bar Looney’s Pub renewed its 11,076 square foot lease at 8180 Maple Lawn Boulevard in Fulton, with MacKenzie’s Thomas Fidler and Laura Williams representing the landlord.
  • Jarrettsville Furniture leased 8,060 square feet of space at 530-592 Baltimore Pike in Bel Air. Tom Motley of MacKenzie represented the furniture retailer which relocated from Bel Air Town Center.

Industrial leasing transactions

  • Wholesale cabinet manufacturing company ProCraft Cabinetry leased 60,000 square feet of space at 6750 Santa Barbara Court in Elkridge with MacKenzie’s Matthew Curran and Andrew Meeder representing the tenant.
  • KCI Technologies renewed its 10,800 square foot lease at 11830 W. Market Place in Fulton, with MacKenzie’s Joseph Bradley, Mark Deering, Matthew Mueller, Henson Ford, and Dylan Bozel representing the tenant. The employee-owned engineering, consulting, and engineering group is based in Sparks.

Office leasing transactions

  • Information technology services company Techximius leased 19,479 square feet of space at 210 Research Boulevard in Aberdeen. MacKenzie’s Joseph Bradley, Beetle Smith, Tom Mottley, Matthew Mueller, Henson Ford, and Dylan Bozel represented the landlord, COPT Defense Properties.

Property sale transactions

  • MacKenzie’s Matthew Curran and Andrew Meeder represented Tate Access Floors in the sale of 7510 Montevideo Road in Jessup for $18.5 million. The 121,211 square foot warehouse/industrial building was acquired by Gaulin Properties. Tate Access Floor agreed to a short-term leaseback arrangement with the new owners, and Gaulin Properties intends to upgrade the asset prior to searching for a replacement tenant.
  • Matthew Curran, Daniel Hudak and Andrew Meeder of MacKenzie represented Commercial Real Estate Services of Maryland in the company’s $9.4 million acquisition of 6750 Santa Barbara Court in Elkridge. The 101,066 square foot building was formerly owned by Rockfon.
