Long-term tenant Bentley World-Packaging acquires asset from private owner
Packaging company Bentley World-Packaging has acquired 6301 Erdman Avenue, a one-story building containing 77,000 square feet of warehouse, manufacturing, and office space, from a private owner for $6 million. The Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based company has been a long-term tenant of the building located in Baltimore City. Bentley World-Packaging provides packaging, handling, warehousing, and distribution services to manufacturers around the world. The company maintains five facilities, comprising more than 500,000 square feet of facility space, in Milwaukee and Baltimore, including a location at the Shipyard at TradePoint Atlantic. The group also works with prime contractors to supply materials to government agencies and the armed forces.
Delivered in 1957 and situated on a 2.75-acre site, 6301 Erdman Avenue is equipped with 27 to 32-foot ceiling heights, four loading docks, four drive-in docks and an office space component on two floors comprising approximately 2,000 square feet of space. The building is served by five on-site cranes for material handling and features surface parking.
The asset is located approximately one mile from Interstate 895, two miles from Interstate 95, three miles from Interstate 695 (Baltimore Beltway) four miles from the Seagirt Marine Terminal, and 14 miles from BWI Airport.
