MacKenzie Management Promotes Heather Gannon to Controller
Heather Gannon has been promoted to Controller, MacKenzie Management Company, LLC, the full-service asset and property management division of The MacKenzie Companies, LLC, a multi-disciplined commercial real estate, and construction services group based in Lutherville, Maryland. Formerly Assistant Controller, she joined the company in 2014 and has more than 30 years of financial and business experience.
In her new role, Gannon will assist in overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities of the group’s in-house accounting department. Her activities will include establishing and implementing best practice financial and accounting processes, interacting with company executives to set financial objectives, developing and monitoring budgets, and overseeing all financial reporting and auditing activities. Gannon will also be involved in creating protocols to achieve operational efficiencies for the properties managed by, and for the entire affiliate company.
Prior to joining MacKenzie Management, Gannon worked as a senior accountant at General Growth Properties.
