MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC is pleased to announce the off-market sale of 1205 68th Street, an 80,000± square foot warehouse building situated on 17.6± acres in Rosedale, Baltimore County, Maryland. MacKenzie Senior Vice President/Principal Andrew Meeder assisted the purchaser, full-service commercial real estate and investment company Greenspring Realty Partners, in the transaction.
The property was owned by a local family who previously ran OST Trucking Company. The family sold the business to Forward Intermodal, a subsidiary of Forward Air Corporation, and Forward Intermodal has since leased the property from the family. The property is zoned for heavy industrial, accessible to major highways, within close proximity to The Port of Baltimore, and has outside storage land.
“Existing industrial sites with storage components remain a hot commodity in our market and are becoming harder to come by,” stated Meeder. “This factor, coupled with a national credited tenant leasing 100% of the building at the time of sale presented a value-add opportunity for Greenspring’s portfolio of offerings.”
