MacKenzie Awarded Harbor Point Leasing Assignment

MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC is proud to announce that they have been awarded the exclusive retail leasing assignment for Harbor Point, Baltimore’s premier waterfront mixed-use development. The team of Tom Fidler, Sean Langford, Laura Williams, and Michael Lang will be working to lease all current and future retail space within the project.  Currently the city’s largest downtown waterfront site under development, Harbor Point at completion will include up to three million square feet of mixed-use space spanning 27 acres. MacKenzie will work to expand the project’s high-profile tenant roster by engaging clients that highlight the overall tone for the exclusive project, building a neighborhood that stands out from surrounding areas, one positioned to become the vibrant heart of the city.

“We are honored to have this opportunity and are committed to working with ownership to build upon their vision for Harbor Point,” stated Tom Fidler, Executive Vice President/Principal of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC.  “Harbor Point is at the forefront of redefining the Baltimore harbor experience; the project brings first-class amenities and a touch of suburbia to a central point of the city.  Once complete, the ownership team will have created a city within a city.  Harbor Point will certainly put our market on the map as another must-see and experience destination.”

Harbor Point is redefining a pivotal section of Baltimore’s waterfront with a specially curated mix of Class A office space, vibrant retail offerings, chef-driven local and regional restaurants, upscale hotels, and an unprecedented amount of open green space.  Anchoring the Harbor Point project is the 21-story, mixed-use Exelon Building that serves as the regional office for the Exelon Corporation.  Opened in 2016, the Exelon Building also includes 103 residences at 1305 Dock Street and 39,000 square feet of retail space.  Current tenants include West Elm, Honeygrow, CorePower Yoga, Ceremony Coffee Roasters, and Plantbar.  An additional 18,000 square feet of retail space is available at 1405 Point, the first stand-alone apartment building at Harbor Point. Opened in 2018, current retail tenants at 1405 Point include Vida Taco Bar and Soildcore. Upon completion, Harbor Point will include approximately 250,000 square feet of retail space.  Leasing efforts will focus on attracting high-quality and unique local and regional tenants that will shape the visitor’s experience and provide a vibrant amenity base for residents, employees, and tenants alike.

“Curating a fun and interesting mix of retail options is vital for the long-term success of any large development project,” stated Michael Beatty, President of Beatty Development Group. “We are excited to engage with the MacKenzie team for our retail leasing efforts at Harbor Point. Their local presence and experience complement our vision for Harbor Point as a thriving, inviting neighborhood with something for everyone.”
