Overview
Ginny Vernick joined the Annapolis office of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services after a 27-year career with Transwestern, where she provided both landlord representation and tenant advisory services. Her clients include a multitude of businesses, associations, insurance companies and property owners throughout the Washington Metropolitan area. Currently Ginny concentrates her efforts on the marketing of retail and special use properties directing marketing, leasing and sales services for landlord/tenant and seller/buyer assignments. Her current listings include shopping centers, pad site opportunities, commercial building and land sales, consulting and development work. Ginny brings her decades-long experience and well-earned reputation as a hard worker and results-oriented agent to the Mackenzie retail team.
At the core of her approach, Ginny understands that no two clients are exactly alike. She knows that to successfully represent a client it is important to thoroughly understand the needs and goals of that client. Ginny becomes part of the client’s team to pursue these goals on the client’s behalf. By providing critical market knowledge and guidance based on a long-standing career each client benefits from her vast experience and work ethic. Ginny has successfully completed lease and sale transactions for three decades. Her marketing efforts serve to create awareness and develop business opportunities resulting in a win win for her clients.
For landlords, Ginny works hard to develop business interest, including targeting prospects, conducting tours, generating proposals, strategically negotiating business terms and ultimately providing the driving force behind the marketing effort guiding the transaction toward the end goal – leasing/selling the assigned property. In assisting tenants, her role includes understanding the business model and bringing opportunities to the end user with the most potential of achieving success and most importantly advocating for her clients. By always keeping the client’s needs at the forefront of the process Ginny has been able to enjoy longstanding relationships and the all-important repeat business foundational to her career. Ginny resides in Annapolis with her husband and enjoys her family of three adult children with the addition of a new grandchild last year.
