Patrick Smith, SIOR

Patrick Smith serves as a Vice President with MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC, with over 15 years experience in the commercial real estate industry. Patrick has been thoroughly involved in tenant and landlord representation assignments throughout the Baltimore Metro area with a primary focus on office, industrial and medical properties. Patrick also has several years of corporate services experience through his representation of Sinclair Broadcast Group, H&S Bakery and Peri Formwork Systems throughout the US. Recently Patrick has had a focus on locating acquisition opportunities for local investors, family offices, developers and users. In conjunction with this service, Patrick has extensive experience in marketing industrial, office and re-development properties for sale on behalf of owners and implementing effective marketing strategies to deliver speed and efficiency to his clients.

Prior to his time at MacKenzie, Patrick spent 14 years serving as Vice President and Principal at Blue & Obrecht Realty, a locally owned brokerage firm. Patrick is a licensed Associate Broker with the Maryland Real Estate Commission, The District of Columbia and in Pennsylvania. Patrick is also a Notary Public in the State of Maryland.

Patrick attended The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, a Public Honors College. During his time at St. Mary’s College he was a member of the varsity lacrosse team and studied abroad at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. Patrick lives in Monkton, MD with his wife and 3 children. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting & fishing during his free time.
