Client Overview
Under Armour partnered with MacKenzie Contracting to provide construction management services for the renovation of its flagship location in Downtown Baltimore's Harbor East. As the firm's prototype, the project would need to meet the retailer's meticulous standards for visually "pushing the envelope"
Approach and Results
The collaboration resulted in a 9,500 square foot flagship retail store featuring 14' high custom made entry doors and facade. Interior renovations included new glazing and metal panels, concrete stairs, wood UA logo wall, custom wood/concrete display fixtures and LED lights that resulted in the project receiving numerous accolades including international acknowledgement by the Association for Retail Environments (A.R.E.).
