Full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm cited for four commercial office leases, three industrial leases, and three retail lease and one warehouse/industrial building sale

MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC has been recognized for 10 CoStar Power Broker Quarterly Deals for Q2 2024 in the greater Baltimore metropolitan area, according to the company which provides information, analytics, and marketing services to the commercial real estate sector. The Lutherville, Maryland-based group received top honors for the execution of four commercial office leases, three industrial leases, and three retail leases. Last year, MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services executed more than 850 separate real estate transactions throughout the greater Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia area, which represented the highest total in its 56-year corporate history.

According to CoStar, “as big-ticket items involving sizable investments, commercial property transactions often have a wider impact with the community.” The Washington, D.C.-based company “recognizes the largest leases completed each quarter and the dealmakers who made them happen in their respective markets.”

Event services company EventEQ leased 74,000 square feet of space at 9525 Berger Road, a 100,000 square foot industrial/warehouse building located within the Guilford Industrial Park in the Columbia section of Howard County. The asset is owned by Merritt Properties. MacKenzie’s Matthew Curran, SIOR and Andrew Meeder, SIOR represented the tenant.

Len Stoler signs lease extension for 35,000 square feet of space in Westminster

Len Stoler Automotive Group inked a 35,000 square foot lease extension within 861 Baltimore Boulevard in the Westminster section of Carroll County. MacKenzie’s Dennis Boyle and Tim Harrington represented the landlord. The automotive group with 10 locations throughout the greater Baltimore metropolitan area has occupied this space since 2020.

Rampart Communications inks 34,400 square foot lease in Linthicum

Trish Ferrell of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services represented Rampart Communications in its 34,400 square foot lease at 881 Elkridge Landing Road in the Linthicum area of Anne Arundel County. This represents an expansion of the wireless communication provider’s corporate office, formerly located at 1201 Winterson Road. The building, also known as Airport Square 10, is owned by Bluepoint Group and is now 86 percent leased.

EquipmentShare takes 20,000 square foot space in Odenton

Matthew Curran and Andrew Meeder represented EquipmentShare in its 20,000 square foot, full-building lease at 1875 Mayfield Road. The equipment and tool rental services company operates locations across the United States. The one-story building is situated within the Odenton area of Anne Arundel County.

Maury Donnelly & Parr renews 18,975 square foot space in Hunt Valley

MacKenzie’s Joe Bradley, Henson Ford, Matthew Mueller, and Dylan Bozel represented Maury Donnelly & Parr in its 18,975 square foot lease renewal at 10150 York Road, a 178,000 square foot building located in the Hunt Valley section of Baltimore County. The full-service insurance company was founded in 1875.

Anne Arundel County Public Library books 15,542 square foot renewal in Annapolis

MacKenzie’s David McClatchy and Trish Farrell represented Anne Arundel County Public Library in its 15,542 square foot lease renewal at the 1.4 million square foot Westfield Annapolis Mall. The library, which operates 16 sites throughout Anne Arundel County, booked its space with owner Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield and CPP Investments. AAPL has occupied the space since 2020.

Maryland Primary Care Physicians leases 15,400 square feet in Hanover

MacKenzie’s Morgan Wimbrow represented Maryland Primary Care Physicians in the healthcare provider’s 15,400 square foot lease at 7580 Buckingham Boulevard. The 52,800 square foot building is owned by Merritt Properties and located in the Hanover section of Anne Arundel County. The practice has leased the space since 2018.

MTM Ventures renews 12,000 square foot lease in Aberdeen

MacKenzie’s Andrew Meeder and Daniel Hudak, SIOR represented trucking logistics company MTM Ventures in its 12,000 square foot lease renewal at 1007-1011 Old Philadelphia Road. The company, which manages routes as far north as upstate New York and as far south as the Carolina’s, has operated within the 126,000 square foot building, located in the Cranberry Run Business Center in Harford County since 2021.

Specialized Education of Maryland leases 11,818 square feet of space in Aberdeen

Beetle Smith and Tom Mottley of MacKenzie represented Specialized Education of Maryland in its 11,818 square foot lease at 834 Old Philadelphia Road, a 14,625 square foot retail building situated within Aberdeen Exchange. The group will be occupying approximately 80 percent of the Harford County-area building constructed in 2016, with the remaining portion leased by restaurant Bushmill Express.

Tender Care Adult Daycare takes 8,379 square foot spot in Cockeysville

MacKenzie’s Henry Deford and Tim Harrington represented Tender Care Adult Daycare in its 8,379 square foot lease in the Cranbrook Shopping Center, located at 528-598 Cranbrook Road in Cockeysville.
