Hayes Merkert, SIOR

Hayes Merkert serves as a Senior Vice President of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC, based in Columbia, Maryland. Merkert has represented a number of institutional owners of real estate, as well as major local and national tenants. He has been active in the local chapter of the Society of Industrial Office Realtors (SIOR), serving as past President and Treasurer. Prior to joining MacKenzie, Hayes was part of Cushman & Wakefield’s brokerage services practice group as the Senior Director of their Baltimore office. He has over 40 years of experience in the region’s real estate market, specializing in sales and leasing of office and industrial real estate properties throughout the Baltimore-Washington Corridor.

Hayes is a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s College and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.
